After months of posting updates to Carson's website I decided to take the plunge and create a blog. I have really enjoyed keeping up with my friends' blogs and I hope this process is a little less painful.

We never knew how nice a routine would be...
No one can ever prepare you for the emotion involved in being a parent...
Who knew an infant's bowel movement could bring so much joy...
How interesting the "game report", as Daddy puts it (the eat, sleep, poop report card from day care), would be so interesting...
How little sleep you can actually function on (8 hours is a thing of the past)...
There aren't enough books, websites, magazine, or pieces of advice to truly prepare you for parenthood...
How coming home each evening can take away all the bad thoughts about the work day...
And who knew how quickly one would say, "now I know..." (this one is for you mom!)
