Florida Christmas

After enduring our Christmas Adventure we finally made it to Florida to celebrate Christmas with my family. Although we would have loved to share our Christmas Eve & morning traditions with Carson, we still enjoyed a wonderful Christmas Day celebration with my family!

First up....what did Santa leave for Carson under the tree?!?!

A Thomas (Choo Choo - as Carson would call it) House of course!

Carson is obsessed with all things Choo Choo these days. You will see that Santa and the rest of the family hopped on that band wagon as well ;-)

Carson LOVED his Choo Choo house!! We had sooo much fun watching him squeal with delight as Daddy put it together and Carson climbed in and out of it.

This picture says it all!

Up next? A Choo Choo blanket and Choo Choo pillow but of course!!!

And then he moved on to his stocking...

Santa knew exactly what Carson wanted in his stocking this year....

More Choo Choos of course!!!

Carson loved playing with his cousins Zack, Alex, & Cassie.

One of Carson's favorite gifts was his Choo Choo robe. Here he is pointing out the Choo Choos on his cuff. Too cute!!! It is soooo hard convincing him to take it off in the morning when its time to get ready for school these days.

What's next???

A Choo Choo towel and tooth brush, of course!!!

Carson thought it better served as a hairbrush.

What a cutie, Miss Cassie.

Papa was very happy to get his customary chocolate covered cherries.

The family enjoyed a trip to the bowling alley. That was an adventure! Papa hadn't bowled in over 20 years! But some how he managed to get a strike in his first two tries!

Fun was had by all.

Jon thought that Cassie's pink scarf may bring him some good luck.

We spent Sunday evening at my sister Tara's house for a BBQ and some Cowboy's Football. Alex did a great job getting Carson to sleep.

Carson & I had a Christmas photo shoot. He is such a ham!

Kisses and hugs for Mama's Snow Man.

And more kisses and hugs for Santa!

The last night we were in Florida the whole family came together for one last meal. I was hoping for another good photo op of the kiddos. No such luck. Carson wasn't having it!

So we opted for a silly photo instead.

And finally, I had to document Carson's powdered doughnut experience..one of many while we were home. Mama was tickled that she was able to share in the "What ever happens at Grandma's house, stays at Grandma's house" old adage.

Love & miss ya'll! Thanks for a great Christmas. Can't wait to see you next time.
