My mom started a tradition of reading The Night Before Christmas every Christmas Eve with my nieces & nephews when Alex was first born. So last year my mom bought "Baby Schmitty" his very own book so I can continue that tradition with our baby to be.

Christmas Take 1 - Florida vacation

This year we celebrated a combination Thanksgiving & Christmas in Florida with my family so Carson could enjoy his "firsts" with both of our families. Daddy stayed with us in Florida for 4 days and Carson and I enjoyed 5 more with my family!

Carson learned how to pull himself to a stand while in Florida! And of course he did it the day Daddy left so we were sure to send him lots of pics and videos on my camera phone all week to keep him updated on Carson's progress. I loved this pic. Momma was watching Carson while I showered one morning and they were in my room watching the street cleaner go by. How cute is this??

Baby Riggs Has Arrived!

Baby Riggs Ryan Gordon was born on December 17th, 2008. He was 7 lbs. 12 oz. & 20 inches long. He was welcomed by Mommy Amanda, Daddy Brian and Big Sister Finley (2). And of course, Riggs was a little later than expected, so we were unable to be here for his birth. But Carson was sure to send a message his way!

It was a little difficult to keep him still to take a pic with my camera phone...but it sure was fun!

Happy Holidays!!!

One of my favorite things to do during the holidays is to design, create and send out holiday cards. Well...I designed and created the cards...but did not get them sent out :-( After looking at what it would cost to get the cards expedited to me in Florida ( we are leaving tomorrow, yippee!) and then taking the time from my family to sit and address them all, I decided this was the next best alternative.
